About Rakesh Verma IAS (R)
Rakesh Verma is a distinguished former IAS officer of the 1981 Rajasthan cadre, The campus is especially famous for his caliber in the fields of academics as well as administrative sectors. He is a topper in B.Tech, MBA, and M.A. (Economics) from reputed institutions named Above and has worked for more than three decades in his career with different important positions. His experience spans the Department of District Administration, Rural Development, Finance, Planning, Renewable energy, Department of Mining and Petroleum, and Department of Science and Technology.
A leader in education, he started using SATCOM based computerized education for NEET & IIT-JEE coaching in government schools from 2009. After serving the IAS for several years, he started focusing on selflessly guiding the aspirants of UPSC. He has been associated with Unacademy teaching for more than six years and has been the Chairman of the UPSC Mock Interview Board for over four years through which he has helped many aspirants crack the IAS, IFS, and IPS exams.
Mr. Verma is especially appreciated for his knowledge of Ethics, Indian Economy, Environment, International Relations and Science & Technology. His teacher's approach is the combination of practical experience of governing institutions and academic knowledge for students to familiarize themselves with it, specially to prepare them to score good, smart and with as little stress as possible.
